Dr. Barbara Fodero was born and raised in Michigan. She attended Indiana University for college, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelors degree in Biology. She went on to earn her doctorate degree in dentistry, graduating first in her class, at the University of Michigan, which has consistently been ranked as one of the top dental programs in the world. Dr. Fodero continued at the University of Michigan to receive a Master of Science in the specialty of Orthodontics. She received the Harry Sicher First Research Award for her master’s thesis and is proud to have graduated from one of the most prestigious orthodontic programs in the country. Go Blue!
Dr. Fodero has resided in New Jersey for the last 19 years. Outside the office Dr. Fodero enjoys spending time with her sons, Peter and Nick, and her Boston terrier, Phoebe and her Jask Russell terrier, Frankie. She loves travel, cooking, hiking and skiing.
Dr. Fodero has been creating beautiful smiles for children and adults for over 23 years. Her educational background, coupled with her artistic eye and her genuine care for her patients allows her to provide her patients with the best orthodontic experience and outcome. Embracing “be a student of your craft”, she continuously keeps abreast attending courses and seminars on the practice of orthodontics to offer her patients with the latest techniques and treatment.
